Oceans are the heart of our planet – they produce over 50 % of the oxygen we breathe and regulate our climate. Yet they are under threat: plastic pollution, overfishing, and climate change endanger their future.
With your donation for ocean protection, you support OceanPulse e.V., a non-profit organization based in Hamburg, Germany. Together with water sports enthusiasts, travellers, and volunteers, we create clean-ups, education projects, and sustainable local initiatives to protect our oceans.
We are a team of water sports enthusiasts and travelers who decided we could no longer just stand by and watch. The association was founded in Hamburg in 2025 to bridge the gap between tourism, water sports, and nature conservation. You can view our bylaws and transparency reports at any time.
Your money goes directly into our project work on the ground—not into expensive administration. We are currently using funds to establish our 7 “Ocean Hubs” (including locations in Germany, Colombia, and Brazil). Specifically, we purchase equipment for beach clean-ups (sacks, gloves, scales) and finance educational materials for schools and water sports centers.
Absolutely. We want you to support us out of conviction, not obligation. You can pause or end your regular support at any time simply by sending us an email or using the link provided in your donation confirmation. There are no cancellation periods.
Yes, OceanPulse e.V. is officially registered as a non-profit organization with the Hamburg District Court (VR 26051).For German tax residents: Your donation is 100% tax-deductible. You can claim your contribution directly in your German tax return. For international donors: Please note that tax deductibility depends on the specific tax laws of your country of residence. While we are a registered non-profit in Germany, we cannot guarantee tax benefits in other jurisdictions. We recommend consulting your local tax advisor.
For German tax purposes, a simple bank statement or deposit slip is usually sufficient proof for donations up to €300. For higher amounts—or upon request—we will automatically send you an official donation receipt (Zuwendungsbestätigung) via email. For international donors, we provide a standard confirmation of your donation via email. If you have a recurring donation, you will receive a collective annual receipt at the beginning of the following year.
