Oceans, rivers, and lakes are our playground, but we are in the process of destroying them. For those who surf, kite, or dive, the plastic crisis isn’t just news—we swim in it.

At OceanPulse, ‘hope’ is not a strategy. We are transforming the global community of water sports enthusiasts and travelers into an organized force. We bring professional infrastructure to places where previously there was only good will—locally rooted, globally connected, and radically solution-oriented.

Meet the Team

Fynn Hedrich, founder of OceanPulse, preparing cleanup materials during an environmental event

Fynn
Hedrich
Founder & Chairman

Fynn swapped the corporate ladder for the coast. With an MBA and years of management experience, he now channels that strategic precision into ocean protection. He ensures that our passion for the water translates into measurable, professional impact.

Timo
Rogge
Vice-Chairman

As the founder of Salty Lemon, Timo lives at the intersection of watersports and business. An Industrial Engineer by trade, he bridges the gap between our community and partners, proving that you can combine an entrepreneurial mindset with deep ecological integrity.

Leo
von Hoyningen-Huene
Treasurer

Leo provides the backbone for our mission. He combines economic discipline with a heart for the ocean. With his background in scaling sustainable businesses, he safeguards our finances and ensures that every donation is managed with transparency and structure.

Our Mission: Infrastructure Over Activism.

Traditional awareness campaigns are not enough to stop the tide of plastic waste. Our answer is the construction of a self-sustaining ecosystem.

We connect local communities with the tourism economy to make conservation profitable and permanent. Through certified standards for hotels, permanent cleanup hubs, and education integrated directly into water sports lessons, we close the gap between a short vacation and long-term responsibility.

What We Do

IMMEDIATE RELIEF

OceanPulse Clean-Ups
We transform tourists into an active volunteer workforce. By organizing high-frequency cleanups in pollution hotspots, we generate immediate, measurable data and waste reduction.

SYSTEMIC INCENTIVE

OceanPulse Certificate
The OceanPulse Certification creates a verified economic incentive for hotels and schools to ban single-use plastics and finance local waste management.

FUTURE PROOFING

OceanPulse Education
Awareness is not enough; we need behavioral change. Our 'Watersport for Change' program integrates conservation education directly into lessons.
